The Storm Sign 6 To The 2002 Roster

The 2002 Storm team has now signed 6 players to the roster. Most are familiar names, with several players from the United States and parts of Canada scheduled to attend outdoor tryouts in April.

Peter Wiebe - A veteran player of the Storm and has played for the Storm in season 1 and 2

Peter Babcock - Joined the team late in the 2002 season after leaving the London Werewolves. He posted impressive numbers during the playoffs with a 1.00 ERA (in 9 innings) and a batting average .556 with 18 plate appearances.

Roop Chanderdat - Joined the Storm after several seasons with the London Majors. AVG .300 during the regular season and .333 during the playoffs.

Kris Kewley - Has been a part of the Storm for both seasons. His ERA was 3.54 for the regular season with 53.1 innings pitched. He primarily played shortstop.

Eric Seger - Moved up last season from the Junior St. Thomas Tomcats team. His stats suffered moving from an aluminum bat league to a wood bat league. With a season under his belt, his numbers should improve.

Rick Ross - A veteran of the ICMBL, Rick has played for the St. Thomas Elgins, The London Majors, and has been a part of the Storm since season 1. He is a former rookie of the year award winner. Rick primarily played outfield, but can play any position.
