Kitchener Panthers 9, Waterloo Tigers 8

In Kitchener, Joel Scott scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift the Panthers to a 9-8 win over the Waterloo Tigers.
Chris Currie (2-0) allowed five runs - one earned - and four hits in two innings of relief of starter Jason Booth, who gave up three runs and five hits in 5 1/3 inning.
Brad Earl (1-1) gave up the winning run after retiring two batters in the 10th inning. Earl had a solo home run in the second inning and Mike Robertson added a two-run blast in the fourth.
Currie struck out the side in the ninth inning, but Greg Stefan reached first base on an error and the Tigers went on to score four times in the inning. Kitchener responded with three consecutive doubles in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game and send it to extra innings.
Harpreet Prada hit his second homer of the season, a three-run shot in the second inning.

In Barrie, Jeremy Ulyenbroek hit a game-winning two-run home run to left field in the fifth inning to pace the Baycats to a 5-1 win over the Brantford Red Sox.
Ulyenbroek had a pair of hits and Andy Sorochan and Liam O'Brien added two hits each in the win.
Brad Bissell (1-0) pitched eight innings, allowing one unearned run and three hits while striking out seven batters. Reliever Matt Miller struck out the side in the ninth inning.
Brett Gibson (0-1) gave up three runs and five hits in three innnings of relief.
