In Barrie, Adam Horostaj pitched 7 1/3 scoreless innings to back the Kitchener Panthers to a 2-0 win over the Baycats in the Intercounty Baseball League on Saturday.
Horostaj (3-1) allowed two hits, struck out four batters and walked two and Mike Olides tossed a scoreless inning to preserve the shutout and record the save.
Brad Bissell (3-2) gave up two runs and five hits and struck out eight batters in seven innings for Barrie.
Brian Carter was two-for-four with an RBI and Mark Johnston singled home the winning run with two out in the third inning.

Tobin had two hits and scored twice and Mick Kurhan had a hit and drove in three runs.
