In Brantford, Jesse Robertson drove in the winning run with two in the ninth inning to lift the Red Sox to a 2-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. Brantford leads the semi-final playoff series 3-1 and can clinch a spot in the IBL finals with a win in Game 5 on Sunday in Toronto.

Stefan Strecker (1-0) worked the complete game for Brantford, giving up one run and five hits while striking out five batters.

Paul Spoljaric (1-1) lost for the first time this season after giving up two runs and seven hits in nine innings for Toronto.
