Kitchener Panthers 9, Oshawa Dodgers 2
In Oshawa, Luke Baker had three hits, including a double, and drove in two runs to pace the Kitchener Panthers to a 9-2 win over the Oshawa Dodgers in the Intercounty Baseball League on Saturday.
Mark Schmidt and Mark Johnston also had three hits each and Brian Carter singled home the winning run in the seventh inning for Kitchener.
Joel Scott (5-2) allowed one run on three hits while striking out four batters and walking two in seven innings for the win.
Scott Robinson (1-2) took the loss after giving up two runs - one earned - and seven hits in six innings.
Tim Smith belted a solo homer in the seventh inning for Oshawa.

In Barrie, Kevin Brown smacked a double in the sixth inning that brought home the winning run to help the Barrie Baycats to a 10-8 win over the Brantford Red Sox.
Alex Borgo homered while Brown added a bases-loaded double in the seventh inning and drove in four runs for Barrie.
Angus Roy (5-4) allowed four runs and eight hits in seven innings for the win and Ian Holman retired the final two batters for the save.
Matt Miller (0-2) was tagged for 10 runs and nine hits in 6 2/3 innings for Brantford.
Tyler Burnell was three-for-five with a triple and drove in two runs and Raul Borjas added three hits, including a double, and brought in a pair of runs.

Kris Dabrowiecki (1-2) allowed five runs - three earned - and six hits in five innings and Marc Brohman belted a two-run homer in the sixth inning for Guelph.
