In London, Dave Steffler tossed a seven-hit shutout to back the Toronto Maple Leafs to an 8-0 win over the London Majors in the Intercounty Baseball League playoffs on Saturday. London leads the series 3-1 with Game 5 scheduled for Sunday afternoon in Toronto.

Steffler (1-0) struck out four batters and didn't allow a walk to help Toronto to their first win of the series.

Steve Condotta hit five singles and scored a pair of runs and Joe Colameco had three hits, including a homer, and drove in three runs. Kern Watts was four-for-five and scored twice.

Tom VanKasteren (2-1) allowed seven runs and 16 hits in five innings. Shayne Riley gave up a run on three hits in one inning of relief.

John Boom hit a pair of singles for London.
