London Majors 12, Toronto Maple Leafs 4

In Toronto, Alex Blackburn had three hits, including a two-run home run in the second inning, to help the London Majors to a 12-4 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs in the Intercounty Baseball League playoffs on Sunday.

London wins the semi-final series 4-1 and will meet the Guelph Royals in the IBL Championship Series for the Jack and Lynne Dominico Trophy. The Championship Series schedule of games will be announced in the near future.

Jeremy Hudson belted a two-run single in the fourth inning and Pete Babcock added three hits for the Majors, who are 5-2 on the road in the playoffs.

Jeremy Middleton (2-1) was London's player of the game after holding Toronto to four runs and eight hits in a complete-game effort.

Joe Thomas (1-2) suffered his second loss of the series after giving up six runs in 3 2/3 innings.

Joe Colameco and Rob Butler homered in the eighth inning for Toronto.
