In Barrie, Mike Cart hit a two-run home run in the eighth inning that led the Barrie Baycats to an 8-3 win over the Oshawa Dodgers in a special weekday matinee in the Intercounty Baseball League on Thursday.
Ryan Spataro had three hits, including a double and Matt Van Greene added two hits and drove in a pair of runs for Barrie.
Angus Roy (5-2) allowed two unearned runs and seven hits in his sixth complete-game effort of the year for Barrie.
Scott Robinson (0-2) surrendered three runs and eight hits in seven innings and Craig McGill was two-for-four with a double for Oshawa.

In Kitchener, Matt Logan clubbed a two-run single in the 10th inning that lifted the Toronto Maple Leafs to a 3-1 win over the Kitchener Panthers in one of two evening games.
Joe Colameco stole home in the third inning to score the game's first run. In the 10th, Damon Toplie and Carl Embro each singled and then scored on Logan's two-out hit.
Doug Dimma (1-0) earned the win in relief and Dave Steffler struck out the side in the 10th inning for his first save.
Scott Harris (0-1) took the loss after starter Adam Hornostaj allowed one run and two hits in nine innings of work.
Ryan Roeder led off the eighth inning with a home run that tied the game for Kitchener.

In Stratford, Brad McElroy smacked a pair of home runs to pace the London Majors to a 14-2 win over the Stratford Storm.
Simon Galarraga also homered and Kirk Martin (3-2) picked up the win by holding the Storm scoreless on two hits through five innings.
Josh Elliott (0-6) allowed nine runs - eight earned - and eight hits in six innings for Stratford.
