In London, Mike Ambrose had three hits, including a two-run home run that helped the London Majors to an 8-6 win over the Hamilton Thunderbirds in one of two games in the Intercounty Baseball League on Friday.
Pete Babcock also had three hits and drove in three runs for London and Josh Braby scored the winning run on a bases-loaded walk in the eighth inning.
Shawn Gillespie (3-1) allowed two runs - one earned - and two hits in five innings for the win before Craig Johnson struck out three batters in the final two innings for his first save.
Bill Lawrence (0-5) gave up six runs - five earned - and 10 hits in four innings for Hamilton. Justin Wendt had a pair of hits and drove in three runs in the loss.

In Brantford, Mike Alati hit a pair of singles and scored the winning run in the eighth inning to help the Guelph Royals to a 6-4 win over the Brantford Red Sox.
Joel Lynch had two hits, including a double, and Ted Drew Smith added a pair of singles and a run scored for Guelph.
Ian Harvey (4-1) pitched six scoreless innings, allowing seven hits and three walks while striking out six batters.
Stefan Strecker (2-3) surrendered six runs and 10 hits in 7 2/3 innings. Tyler Moe hit a pair of singles and drove in a run and Steve Charles added three singles for Brantford.
