Hamilton Cardinals 11, Oshawa Dodgers 7
In Oshawa, R.J. Lambert belted a pair of solo homer runs to power the Hamilton Cardinals to an 11-7 win over the Oshawa Dodgers in the Intercounty Baseball League on Saturday.
Shayne Ridley added a three-run homer in the sixth inning and Bill Lawrence (1-0) gave up seven runs � five earned � and 13 hits in a complete-game effort for the win.
Oshawa starter Dan Nauth (2-2) allowed nine runs � eight earned - and nine hits in 5 1/3 innings.
Adam Sylvestre had a pair of hits, including a two-run homer run, and Chris Sereda was three-for-three in the loss.
