Kitchener led visiting Waterloo 13-5 in the bottom of the eighth inning when the lights went out at Jack Couch Park. The Panthers had two on with two out at the time of the power interruption. The Commissioner will determine if the game needs to be completed. The two teams do not meet again this season.

Oshawa kept their playoff hopes alive with tonight�s 3-2 win in Guelph. Darryl Reid�s fourth home run of the season in the fifth inning was the winning run for the Dogers, now 10 and 21 on the season. Ryan Crotin also had a big night with two triples and an RBI. Junior Jason Bennett and Jamaal Joseph combined on a two-hitter. Bennett allowed both hits and one earned run over five innings while walking eight. Joseph went the rest of the way to earn the save.
Guelph scored once on a Dodger error and their other run came courtesy a Kevin Treichel sacrifice fly. Ray Dennis (1-1) took the loss despite a solid complete-game effort. He struck out eight and walked one.

Jarrod Haase had two hits, two RBI�s and scored twice to lead Hamilton past London. Jeremy Walker added four hits and an RBI while Sean Allen had three hits and one RBI. Jason Pilkington earned the win, giving up one run in seven innings while striking out four and walking three.
For the Majors Kevin Virtue�s solo home run accounted for all their scoring. Tim Hinchcliffe went two for five with a double and Rowam Lam went two for four. Joel Wollscheid allowed three earned runs on eight hits in six innings of work to take the loss.
