The Dodgers jumped out to a 5-1 lead after three innings, then won the game with a run in the bottom of the ninth inning to even the series at a win apiece. Pat Tobin scored the winning run after Guelph reliever Ray Dennis walked pinch-hitter Terry Arges with the bases loaded. Tobin led off the inning with a single and went to second on a throwing error. Brad Hanna led the Baycats with two hits, including a two-run double in the third inning, and three walks. J.P. Vittorio added three hits and an RBI and Ken Calway had a two-run double in the first inning. Jamaal Joseph earned the win with three and two-thirds innings of scoreless relief. Guelph was led by Jason Borghese who stroked a two-run single in the sixth inning to get the Royals back into the game. Kyle Leon added two hits and an RBI. Dennis took the loss, giving up an unearned run in two-thirds of an inning.
